Reward of reciting Surah Qadr while cutting cloth for new dress

Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s) says, "A person should recited Surah Qadr thirty six times while cutting a new cloth. When he reaches 'Tanazzalul malaa-ikatu',


he should sprinkle a little water on the cloth. He should then offer a two rakat salaat and recite this supplication, 'Alhamduillahilladhee razaqanee maa atajammalu bihi finnaasi wa wwaaree bihi auratee wa us'alle feehi lirabbe wa ah'madullah'. Before this cloth gets old, there would be abundance in livelihood."
