Remembering the forgotten

Once Hazrat Khizar asked Imam Hasan (a.s), "How does a man forget anything although he knew it previously and was in his mind?" Imam replied, "The man's heart is in a pot (Zarf) when the pot is shut, the man feels a sort of forgetfulness. But as he recites Darud upon Muhammad (saw) and Aley Muhammad (a.s), the cover of forgetting is torn  and the forgotten thing comes to mind and enlightens the heart." Imam (a.s) further added to say that the incomplete Darud if recited the curtains get hardened, the heart glooms in dark and forget anything, hence recite too much Darud upon us."

Tabaaki

Tabaaki

(Pose for weeping while asking Dua)

Abi Hamzeh has reported on the authority of Imam Ja'far al-Sadeq ( a.s.)
" When you fear something happen, or desire something, first praise God and glorify Him as He deserves, then recite Salawaat and then shed tears even if it is the size of a head of a fly, for my father said: The nearest state of God's servant to Him is to go into prostration and weep in that state."

Imam
Ja'far al- Sadeq (a.s.) has also said:
" If weeping does not give you a positive response, and tears do not come to your eyes, pose as one who is weeping even if it is the size of the head of a fly, for blessed will be your state."

Supplication & Salawat

Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (A.S.) said:

When you commenced any supplications, begin with the recitation of Salawaat on Mohammad(s.a.w.w.) as Salawat on Muhammad(s.a.w.w.) occupies the position of accepted supplication near Allāh(s.w.t.). And Allāh(s.w.t.) never accepts some supplication* and rejects the other

Effect of Salwaat

Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (S.A.W.W) said:
to Amir al-Mu'minin Imām ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (A.S.) that-

"Jibrael informed me that a person from my nation who recites Salawaat on me and my progeny, then for him the doors of the skies are opened, angels recite Seventy salawat on him and if he is a sinner then his sins will fall like leave falls from the tree.
